Training Description:

Dr. Omar Canosa brings nearly 20 years of experience as a psychiatrist specializing in child, adolescent, and adult mental health. He earned his medical degree in 1999 and completed general psychiatry training at Temple University, followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Drexel University. Dr. Canosa has advanced training in treating OCD and OCD Spectrum Disorders, including workshops and supervision with senior experts. From 2008 to 2014, he led an evidence-based pediatric eating disorder program at Atlantic Health’s Overlook Medical Center, integrating multidisciplinary approaches for comprehensive treatment.
