I have received generalist PhD-level training and specialized workshop training for ERP provided (e.g., a training by a senior leader of Rogers Behavioral Health). I have also received advanced training via workshops, such as advanced ACT, Career Counseling, ADHD, and CBT trainings.
Evidence-based testing for ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Autism, and more is offered for children, teens, and adults. I also apply Executive Functioning, CBT, ACT, ERP, Career Counseling and other interventions for ADHD, general executive dysfunction, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Mild to Moderate Depression, Mild to Moderate Tic Disorder, and Career Concerns for teens and adults. I strive to apply a culturally humble, actionable, and personalized approach.
As a doctoral psychologist, I have treated OCD patients for 10 years. As a trained scientist-practitioner from UF, I have a total of 15 years of clinical and research experience.
I strive to inform my interventions with cultural humility, incorporating/honoring clients’ identities and cultural values, behaviors, norms, and beliefs. I strive to become aware of personal biases.
Cultural humility and social justice were cornerstones of my doctoral program. We received advanced training via coursework, practicums, and supervision. I also conducted empirical research in the areas of understudied prejudices/biases, such as racial microaggressions, ageism, and more.
