Narrative of Services:

As a clinician, I specialize in neuropsychiatric disorders in adults, such as Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, and OCD. About 50% of my clients present with OCD, ranging from teenagers to adults. To address the complexity of their needs, I have developed skills in utilizing an exposure-based approach, resulting in improved therapeutic outcomes. My commitment to evidence-based treatments and their advancement allows me to provide exceptional care to all my clients.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I treat OCD, ADHD, and Bipolar Disorder, which all fall on the neurodiversity spectrum. There is often overlap between conditions, and I am trained in all of those specialty areas.

Training Description:

I possess formal training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from The Beck Institute, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) through The Knowledge Tree. Previously, I worked with patients with neuropsychiatric disorders in a top-rated rehabilitation hospital. For the past three years, I have specialized in treating OCD patients using a combination of different approaches. With my comprehensive understanding of evidence-based treatments and the unique challenges faced by individuals with OCD, I am committed to providing my clients the highest quality of care. I remain dedicated to ongoing education and professional development to further advance the field of neuropsychology.

Diversity Statement:

Residing in Charlotte, NC, I have worked with clients from diverse religious and racial backgrounds. I am passionate about advancing racial equity and diversity, which led me to pursue a master’s degree focused on cultural competency. In addition, I actively participate in political initiatives and attend groups that advocate for the advancement of all individuals. My commitment to inclusivity and social justice has enriched my professional acumen and instilled in me a deep appreciation for the diversity that exists within our society. I am dedicated to creating an environment of mutual respect and understanding for everyone.

As a clinician, I possess education, training, and extensive experience in working with diverse populations. My graduate-level coursework included an in-depth study of cultural competency and its application in clinical practice. I have also completed specialized training in providing culturally sensitive care to LGBTQIA+ individuals and other marginalized groups. In my professional work, I have consistently sought out opportunities to work with diverse populations, including those with a range of ethnic, cultural, and religious backgrounds. Through my dedication to cultural competence, I aim to foster an inclusive environment that values and respects the diversity of all individuals.
