Narrative of Services:

I am a licensed psychotherapist specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I have treated adults, teens, and children with a wide range of types of OCD. I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) as the primary means of treating OCD. I continually upgrade my skills through workshops, trainings, and seeking regular consultation. I work collaboratively with my clients to create an individualized treatment plan. I am a member of the International OCD Foundation, the Anxiety Disorders Association, the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapy, and I am a founding fellow and certified trainer/consultant of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy.

Training Description:

I have worked with clients with anxiety for over twelve years. I have taken specialized training to treat OCD. I sought out frequent consultation with experts in the field to improve my skills. In July 2008, I attended the IOCDF's Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI), an intensive 22 hour OCD training. This was a good review and consolidation of the many courses I have taken previously. Those courses have included diagnosis and treatment of OCD, treatment of adolescents and children with OCD, increasing motivation to change, working with repugnant obsessions, and compulsive hoarding.
