The Center for Anxiety and Social Intervention is a small, private practice near downtown Evanston. Dr. Veed specializes in working with anxiety disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. At any given time, approximately 1/3 to 1/2 of his clients have OCD or a related disorder, 2/3 of his clients are children, adolescents, or families.
Dr. Veed has extensive graduate and post-graduate training and 6+ years of experience in using Exposure and Response Prevention to treat a variety of subtypes of OCD, especially in children and adolescents. He is also a generalist trained to apply cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness/acceptance-based techniques to a variety of presenting problems and comorbid diagnoses. Dr. Veed has experience working with treatment resistant cases of OCD with multiple, complicating diagnoses (e.g. ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Depression, Autism Spectrum Disorders).
