I offer individual therapy sessions for adults and adolescents, along with family and parent support sessions for individuals with OCD, anxiety and their related disorders. I would estimate that 70% or more of my caseload at any time is spent working with OCD-related, or anxiety-related issues for Adults, adolescents, and their families.
I treat obsessive compulsive disorder, co occurring with eating disorders, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. Treatment is structured yet flexible, grounded in evidence based care, and tailored to the individual’s presentation. I primarily use exposure and response prevention, inference based cognitive behavioral therapy, rumination focused ERP, and acceptance based approaches, with additional integration of dialectical behavior therapy and compassion focused interventions as needed. Treatment focuses on reducing compulsive patterns, improving emotional regulation, and increasing psychological flexibility while supporting sustainable, values aligned recovery across co occurring conditions.
I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from ISPP in 2013 and have over 15 years of experience treating OCD and related disorders. I have worked within hospital based OCD and anxiety specialty programs and developed an OCD treatment track during my postdoctoral training that was integrated with an eating disorder program at Alexian Brothers Health System. I later served as Director of Clinical Training multiple clinics focusing on OCD and occurring disorders, providing individual and family therapy while training clinicians in evidence based care OCD care in that time
My clinical work includes individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, sexual, and gender identities across the lifespan. I routinely provide care to BIPOC and LGBTQ+ clients and approach treatment through a culturally responsive, affirming framework that recognizes the impact of identity, systemic stressors, and lived experience on mental health. I engage in ongoing DEI focused continuing education and integrate these considerations into assessment, case conceptualization, and treatment planning to ensure care is respectful, collaborative, and aligned with each client’s values and cultural context.
I complete ongoing continuing education each year focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion as required by my state licensing board. I am committed to providing affirming, culturally responsive care and welcome working with BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals seeking an allied and supportive clinician. My approach emphasizes respect, collaboration, and an understanding of how identity, lived experience, and systemic factors intersect with mental health and treatment.
