Stephanie Smiley LCSW
About one third to half of my practice focuses on OCD. I also specialize in PTSD and neurodivergence. I tend to be a good fit for those who are hesitant or fearful about the OCD treatment process. I have a gentle and relational approach to ERP and integrate it with ACT and neurodiversity-affirming therapy.
I also treat trauma and PTSD using EMDR, somatic therapy and parts work.
I’m trained in Exposure and Response Prevention through the Center for Anxiety and Behavior Therapy (27 hrs) and the Pittsburgh Center for OCD (6 hours). I seek ongoing consultation and participate in the IOCDF annual conference. I also draw from my lived experience with OCD.
Many of my clients are part of the LGBTQIA+ community and/or identify as Autistic, Highly Sensitive, ADHD or otherwise neurodivergent. I view my work through a social justice and neurodiversity-affirming lens.
