Arizza D. Salas LCSW
I currently own my practice, Solace OCDAnxiety Therapy, PLLC, where 95% of clients have OCD and other anxiety-related disorders. I motivate clients to challenge thought patterns that have robbed them of their confidence and hope. Using ethical and evidence-based treatment, I empower individuals to intervene in the OCD cycle and disengage from rumination.
I work with people struggling with OCD and anxiety disorders, along with co-occurring challenges like PTSD, depression, and bipolar disorder. It’s very common for those with OCD and anxiety to also experience other mental health conditions, as these disorders often overlap and impact each other. That’s why I take an integrated approach to treatment, addressing all aspects of a person’s mental health to support lasting recovery.
I have extensive experience treating OCD and related disorders, specializing in higher levels of care. My training was in PHP/IOP settings, working with acute and more severe cases. I use evidence-based approaches like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), CBT, and ACT. Through specialized workshops, ongoing consultation with experts, and hands-on experience, I stay up to date with the latest research to provide effective, compassionate care.
I strive to provide culturally responsive care and work with individuals from diverse backgrounds. My approach is inclusive and tailored to each person’s unique experiences, values, and identities. As a Latina, I recognize the impact of cultural factors on mental health and incorporate this understanding into treatment. My practice is committed to creating a safe and supportive space for all individuals seeking care.
I have experience working with diverse populations and am committed to providing culturally competent care. My training includes education on the impact of culture on mental health, as well as ongoing learning through workshops and clinical experience. I strive to create an inclusive, affirming space by tailoring treatment to each individual’s background, values, and lived experiences.
