Brittany M. Rudy PhD
Founder of Moment, Center for Anxiety Disorders
Approximately 80-90% of my caseload is OCD and related disorders and/or significant clinical anxiety disorder diagnoses such as Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, Selective Mutism, and Generalized Anxiety. I utilize ERP, ACT, and CBT techniques to provide evidenced based services for clients in an individualized manner.
I treat co-occuring anxiety (e.g,. panic attacks, social anxiety), depression, trauma, ADHD, ASD, and other secondary diagnoses, integrating techniques most suited to the co-occurring condition. Often treatment may begin with focusing heavily on ERP but will also incorporate skill building and support related to additional diagnoses or treatment may shift to incorporate protocols suited for those diagnoses.
I received strong behaviorally based training in empirically supported techniques for treating anxiety throughout my graduate school career at LSU followed by a specialty fellowship treating OCD in intensive and non-intensive formats through USF at the Rothman Center under Dr. Eric Storch. I have since specialized in pediatric and adult anxiety disorders and OCD for over 10 years in my practice primarily utilizing ERP. I founded Moment to be able to provide specialty services to those in need of specialized anxiety treatment in our community.
Throughout my training I have completed specific coursework and received advisory support in cultural competency and have had opportunities to work with diverse populations.
