Masha Rademakers Ma, RCC
My clinical focus is on OCD and anxiety symptoms, and 60% of my current client caseload receives treatment for OCD-related symptoms. I have successfully helped children, adolescents and adults to regain control of their lives, and helped them rebuild a valuable connection with themselves, others and the world.
With a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counselling from City University in Canada, I am currently working as a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) at North Shore CBT Centre. I specialize in anxiety and OCD and I am trained to provide Inference Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), and Exposure and Prevention Therapy (ERP) treatment. My lived experience with OCD adds to my understanding of the impact that OCD can have on my clients’ lives.
Clients from all walks of life are welcome to connect with me. With a background in immigrant services, I have a broad experience working with immigrants and refugee populations. My own lived experience with immigration and speaking English as a second language may add to my understanding of your multicultural identity.
As a counsellor I am educated to work from a social justice approach, and I protect the interests of diverse populations by actively advocating and helping to remove barriers. I have experience working with LGBTQ2S+ community members, and welcome folks who identify as differently abled.
