We are LGBTQIA+ affirming, and understand the ways systemic oppression, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism and xenophobia impact our mental health individually and collectively. We continually strive to be culturally aware and trauma-informed. A good percentage of our client population includes people of color and people who are LGBTQIA and non-binary identifying. We strive to ensure our team reflects the diversity of our beautiful New York City in every way.

Training Description:
I have an MSW from Columba University School of Social Work. I obtained my LCSW in California in 2010 and my LCSW in New York State in 2011. I developed a specialty in OCD as I started to build my private practice in 2015. Since then, I focused my trainings with individual consultants, the Beck Institute, the IOCDF conference, The Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, and the BTTI Institute. Passionate about couples and family therapy, I have also trained in levels 1 and 2 with the Gottman Institute, and completed the year-long intensive dual program at the Ackerman Institute.
We work with consultants and leverage the expertise of our LGBTQIA+ clinicians to ensure LGBTQIA competency. We are currently engaged in active anti-racism work, and the White clinicians are exploring whiteness and white privilege with ourselves as individuals and a team, and with our clients. We have all attended the Adaway Group’s “Whiteness at Work” series on dismantling white supremacy in the workplace, and we’re setting up consultant calls to work with a clinician of color to provide further therapy specific anti-racism training with us.
