Richard McNulty PhD
I offer treatment for OCD, body-focused repetitive behaviors, and anxiety-related disorders for clients across the lifespan. The treatment of OCD and OC related disorders comprise 60 percent of my practice.
I have specialized training in the co-occurrence of OCD, depression, ASD and anxiety-related disorders. I collaborate with the client in determining what is most getting in the way of life and typically begin intervention in this area.
I completed an APA-accredited doctoral program at the University of Memphis and specialized training in a clinical fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine Department of Psychiatry, where I served in the OCD intensive outpatient program (IOP) and within inpatient and outpatient settings. I am trained in the delivery of evidence based treatment for OCD spectrum disorders, including exposure and response prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT).
My training and practice values working with clients from a variety of diverse backgrounds and experiences, accenting the human dignity of all persons. I strive to provide a welcoming space, which encourages discussion about the facets that are important in one’s life and experience.
