Szu-Hui Lee PhD
Past President, OCD New Hampshire
I have had a private practice since August of 2007 where I provide specialized Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Behavioral Therapy treatments for OCD , OCD spectrum disorders, and Anxiety Disorders. Treatment modality includes in-session therapy, community-based exposures, and home-based sessions. The treatment is primarily Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), with adjuncts such as Cognitive Therapy, Mindfulness Training, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I often involve family/significant others for psychoeducation purposes as well as to get them on board with treatment. I actively collaborate with other members of the treatment team (e.g., psychiatrist).
Facilities accessible by clients of all mobility levels: Yes
I received my training at McLean Hospital’s OCD Institute (OCDI) where I worked for 4.5 years as a behavioral therapist/staff psychologist and served 1.5 years as the Director of Training. At the OCDI, I treated severe refractory OCD and related disorders in a residential setting. While at the OCDI, I also provided training and supervision to counselors, practicum students, and psychology interns and postdocs. I continue to give presentations and trainings on OCD and treatment of OCD nationally and internationally. I am the first president of OCD New Hampshire, an affiliate of IOCDF.
