Ren Krinick, PhD

Ren Krinick, Ph.D. is a cognitive-behavioral clinical psychologist in practice for over 10 years, specialized in the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. She also treats mood and anxiety disorders (e.g., major depressive disorder, panic disorder, agoraphobia, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and phobias). Dr. Krinick utilizes evidence-based CBT practices with a collaborative, trusting and alliance-driven approach to help people progress towards treatment goals and improve quality of life. She integrates therapeutic modalities and styles to fit the needs of her clients.

Dr. Krinick completed her postdoctoral fellowship with specialization in OCD (including ‘pure-O’ sub-type) at the Center for Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy in Manhattan. She has served as a staff psychologist in the adult outpatient psychiatry department at NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens, providing care for an international patient population presenting with a broad range of diagnoses, including survivors of domestic, intimate-partner, and gender-based violence. Dr. Krinick is a senior psychologist at Northwell Health OCD Center, Zucker Hillside Hospital in Glen Oaks, NY, where she conducts trauma-informed individual and group psychotherapy and supervises pre-doctoral externs and psychiatry residents.
