Aliza Goldstein PsyD
You deserve to live a full life, not dictated by your anxiety. I offer evidence-based treatment for OCD (including “Pure O”) and anxiety and have found that combining Exposure and Response Prevention with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is an effective way to help my patients find relief. I firmly believe in taking an active, compassionate, and collaborative approach to treatment. Together, we will create a safe and supportive environment where you can feel empowered to manage your symptoms. My ultimate goal is to equip you with practical strategies that you can use to improve your life.
OCD rarely occurs on its own. It is very common to experience other mood and anxiety disorders such as depression and generalized anxiety along with OCD. I believe in taking a holistic approach to treatment, understanding the relationship between your symptoms, and addressing the issues that are most pressing to you.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist. I have earned a Psy.D in Clinical Psychology from Yeshiva University and completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at a private practice that specializes in the evidence-based treatment of OCD spectrum and anxiety disorders. During this fellowship, I worked with individuals with OCD and found it to be incredibly rewarding. That’s why I have chosen to continue focusing on this specialization in my current practice. I am committed to using my training and expertise to help you overcome any challenges you may be facing related to OCD and anxiety.
