Caryn Gill LPC, LPCC
I have been an OCD specialist since 2017. I also work with individuals with trauma. I use Exposure and Response Prevention, incorporating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help you become more psychologically flexible beyond symptom reduction. I am also trained in Inference-based CBT. I utilize Habit Reversal Training for BFRBs and Tics/Tourette Disorder, as well as the Comprehensive Behavioral (ComB) Treatment for Skin Picking and Hair Pulling Disorders.
PTSD: Prolonged Exposure
Relational trauma/complex trauma: ACT
I’ve received extensive training while working at renowned OCD clinics, as well as through consultation with experts in the field. I also regularly attend trainings through the IOCDF Training Institute, the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, and the Association for Contextual and Behavioral Sciences.
As a first-generation Asian-American woman, I know firsthand how valuable it is to feel like you’re working with someone who gets it. About half of my clients identify as BIPOC, and many are also the first in their families to seek out mental healthcare.
I’ve received extensive training on culturally-responsive and affirming treatment, as well as justice-based ERP.
