Nick Flower PsyD
I mainly treat OCD and related disorders at my clinic, OCD Spectrum in Pittsburgh, PA. All of our clinicians are skilled in cognitive behavioral techniques and especially with exposure and response prevention therapy for OCD. I have been treating OCD almost exclusively since 2013 and have structured my clinical practice to focus heavily on OCD and related anxiety issues. At my clinic, I am responsible for trainees to whom I teach effective ERP skills so that they can provide the best treatment. My caseload is 90% patients with OCD and I have had many patients with OCD over the years.
I graduated from Xavier University with a doctorate in clinical psychology in 2007. In 2014 I completed the BTTI training in Boston where I learned how to use ERP in the effective treatment for OCD and phobias. Additionally, I have been receiving ongoing clinical supervision from a member of the IOCDF Scientific Advisory Board. I am president of OCD Pennsylvania, the local Affiliate of the IOCDF. Finally, to promote awareness and offer hope to those with OCD, I have given numerous talks in the community about effective treatment and good care.
