Narrative of Services:

I specialize in treating teenagers and adults who are struggling with OCD, anxiety, panic attacks, uncontrollable worry, phobias, body-focused repetitive behaviors (e.g. hair pulling or skin picking), emotion dysregulation, interpersonal difficulties, and trauma. When treating OCD, I primarily use Exposure and Response Prevention, however, I often weave in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy techniques as well. I typically deliver ERP treatment in once-weekly 45-minute sessions. However, if a more intensive format is needed we can meet multiple times per week or for longer sessions.

Training Description:

After graduating from Columbia’s clinical social work program in 2019, I worked at a practice that specializes in treating OCD spectrum and anxiety disorders. While there I was intensively trained in Exposure and Response Prevention as well as other CBT interventions by the directors all of whom were research scientists in The Anxiety Disorders Clinic and The Center for OCD Disorder clinics. From 2022 – 2024, I worked at a practice that offered comprehensive DBT. Now, I own my own private practice: Elizabeth Morgan Psychotherapy.
