Narrative of Services:

I specialize in treating OCD and anxiety disorders in adults, couples, and groups. I have particular expertise in working with OCD and anxiety when they intersect with trauma, moral or spiritual scrupulosity, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based treatment. I understand how exhausting it can be to feel caught in cycles of doubt, anxiety, overthinking, and attempts to find certainty. I help clients develop a different relationship with these experiences—one that allows for greater self-trust and freedom to live according to what matters most to them. My goal is to create a supportive therapeutic environment where clients can engage in challenging work while feeling understood, respected, and empowered.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I frequently treat Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Specific Phobias, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, as well as relationship concerns, family-of-origin concerns, and challenges related to major life transitions.

Training Description:

I have extensive training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). My training and professional experience include ongoing training and consultation through the OCD Training School; specialized clinical training and work at the OCD & Anxiety Center of Minnesota; extensive DBT training through Healing Connections Therapy Center; and professional training and membership with the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF). In private practice, I remain actively engaged in continuing education and ongoing consultation with clinicians who specialize in the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders.

Diversity Statement:

I am committed to ongoing learning and to recognizing and challenging racism and other forms of oppression within myself, my community, and larger systems. I am mindful of the privilege I hold as a white, cisgender person, and I am committed to providing an affirming and inclusive therapeutic environment that respects each client’s identities, experiences, and values.
