I received a master’s degree in 2011, an active license as a professional counselor in PA in 2013, and a Psy.D. degree in 2016. I am in my second year of post-doctoral training at the Center for the Treatment & Study of Anxiety at the University of Pennsylvania. I completed their intensive training workshops on both EXRP for OCD and Prolonged Exposure for PTSD; I have received weekly individual and group supervision from their expert psychologists. I have also been treating eating disorders for the past 8 years, with expertise and specialized training in evidence-based treatment protocols.
Diversity Statement:
The institution wherein I received my master’s and doctoral education is located in Philadelphia and served as a treatment clinic for the underserved community. The program emphasized multicultural competency, with a special focus on providing effective, evidence-based treatment to the underserved. My pre-doctoral internship was at a community mental health agency that serviced a primarily medicaid-funded population. I treated individuals of all ages, races, and ethnicities during that training year in a variety of settings (i.e., home-based, outpatient clinic, crisis intervention, and mental health court).
