The Center for Anxiety & Behavior Therapy specializes in providing expert, evidence-based treatment for a broad range of conditions including obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and specific phobias including fears of flying, heights, animals, insects, and vomiting. We also have specialized knowledge in the treatment of co-occurring substance abuse within anxiety disorders, severe and treatment refractory anxiety disorders, and obsessive-compulsive-spectrum disorders including body dysmorphic disorder, hair pulling and skin picking.
I specialize in evidence-based therapies for OCD, PTSD, and the full range of anxiety disorders. I am a certified provider and supervisor of Prolonged Exposure (PE) for PTSD, and am certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD. I have extensive experience treating phobias, panic, social anxiety, and generalized anxiety with exposure and cognitive-behavioral therapies (CBT). I also have expertise in CBT for depression.
I completed a year of doctoral-level research externship and a two-year postdoctoral fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Edna Foa at the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety at the University of Pennsylvania.
