Narrative of Services:

Dr. Cooper is the founding clinical psychologist at the Center of Behavioral Therapy and Consultation for OCD and Anxiety. She has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of OCD and provides evidence-based treatment for OCD and anxiety-related disorders. Approximately 50-60% of her patients are seeking treatment for OCD or an OCD related disorders.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

In addition to being an expert in treating OCD, Dr. Cooper also specializes in treating PTSD, anxiety-related difficulties (e.g., generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic disorder, specific phobia), BFRBs (e.g., trichotillomania and excoriation), and sleep difficulties such as insomnia and nightmares. Dr. Cooper also provides treatment for co-occuring depression.

Training Description:

Dr. Cooper is a licensed clinical psychologist and founder of the Center of Behavioral Therapy and Consultation for OCD and Anxiety (CBTCOA). Prior to founding CBTCOA, Dr. Cooper was an Assistant Professor and Director of the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for OCD at the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety (CTSA) at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at CTSA. Dr. Cooper has expertise in evidence-based cognitive-behavioral treatments for OCD, PTSD, and anxiety-related disorders. She is a certified clinician, consultant, and supervisor in PE for PTSD and ERP for OCD.
