About 75% of my clients have OCD. I have worked with ~50-70 people with OCD.
I have been treating OCD since 2012. During graduate school I was a Clinical Trainee at the UCLA Adult OCD Treatment Clinic. In 2015 – 2016 I received supervision and treated OCD at Melinda White’s private practice in Berkeley, CA. I have been treating OCD and receiving supervision (including intensive outpatient services) at choicetherapy in San Francisco for the past 1.5 years. I completed the Pediatric BTTI at Roger’s in 2018. In 2017 I was a presenter at the Annual OCD Conference in San Francisco. I lecture and provide workshops on treatment of OCD using ERP and ACT regularly.
Diversity Statement:
I taught English to Ecuadorian students ages 12 – 65. I provided trauma-informed behavioral therapy to at-risk foster youth and families in San Francisco. I provided evidence-based therapy and facilitated mindfulness groups to homeless adults in Los Angeles.
In 2011, I lived in Ecuador for 4 months, teaching English as a second language to a diverse group of Spanish speaking people ages 12 – 65. In 2013 – 2014, I was granted the California MFT State Stipend, a scholarship given MFT Associates who have experience working with culturally diverse at-risk populations. Following receipt of the MFT scholarship, I worked at Seneca Family of Agencies for a year providing therapy to at-risk foster youth and families. I also provided therapy and facilitated mindfulness groups to dual diagnosis homeless adults in Los Angeles for 9 months during graduate school.
