Marina Bystritsky, PhD
- LGBTQIA+ Affirming
Since OCD is my primary specialty, at any given time 20 to 40% of my practice are patients suffering from different forms of OCD. I have been in practice for over 25 years and have treated dozens of patients struggling with OCD.
Many of my clients have co-occurring disorders such as health anxiety, GAD or other anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD and mood disorders.
I have been specializing in the treatment of OCD since my graduation from UCLA in 1999. I got my post-doctoral training at the UCLA Anxiety Disorders Clinic. I have taken numerous workshops and participated in multiple conferences of IOCDF, ABCT, and ADAA. From 2006 to 2015 I served as a volunteer faculty at the OCD clinic at Stanford University.
As an immigrant who is bilingual and bicultural, I bring a deep appreciation for the ways culture, identity, and life experiences shape our well-being. I enjoy working with clients from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds and strive to create an inclusive, affirming space where people feel seen, understood, and respected. I also have extensive experience working with members of the LGBTQ+ community and am committed to providing compassionate, culturally responsive care.
