The clinicians at my practice have been treating OCD for over 30 years. We use evidence-based practices to treat OCD and related disorders, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Exposure with Response Prevention. Our clinicians have a particular interest and passion for treating individuals with OCD and related disorders.
At Cleveland Center for Cognitive Therapy, we have expertise in treating OCD and co-occurring disorders, including substance use disorders, mood disorders, PTSD, and anxiety disorders. We can treat co-occurring disorders concurrently or sequentially, depending on the specific needs of the patient. We start every new patient relationship with a comprehensive assessment to determine the best approach to meet that particular person’s needs.
I have extensive training in CBT and ERP through my graduate training at University of Illinois at Chicago and post-doctorally at San Francisco VA Medical Center. I also have postgraduate training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. My experience also includes research on OCD and related disorders, at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, NY. I have been treating OCD and related disorders for over 10 years.
We are an LGBTQIA+ affirming practice. We are committed to multicultural understanding and competence and are committed to creating a space that is safe and healthy for a diverse group of individuals.
Our clinicians complete annual diversity and multicultural continuing education training.
