Narrative of Services:

I offer Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Habit Reversal Training (HRT), the first-line, gold-standard behavioral treatment approaches for OCD and tic disorders respectively. My practice, T.O.P.+ Behavioral Health, also provides Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for hoarding disorder and other anxiety disorders, and I have accumulated 1000s of hours providing and supervising these treatments.

Currently I treat children, adolescents, and adults, with treatment for children/adolescents limited to tic disorders (aged 6+) and OCD (aged 8+). Choose from in-office appointments in Northampton, or telehealth from anywhere in MA. Home/Community visits, as well as accelerated CBT and Exposure programs, are also available.

Training Description:

I completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Institute of Living’s Anxiety Disorders Center, where I received further advanced and specialized clinical and research training of OCD and OCD-related disorders, hoarding, tic disorders and anxiety disorders. Prior to forming T.O.P.+ Behavioral Health, I worked as a staff psychologist for almost 10 years in the VA Boston Healthcare System, where a significant portion of my work was comprised of treating OCD, tic disorders, and clutter difficulties, supervising direct clinical care of psychology and psychiatry trainees with these populations, and delivering several yearly trainings in these psychotherapies to interns, fellows and residents.

Diversity Statement:

I strive to offer evidence-based treatments that are flexible and culturally sensitive. With a view that cultural sensitivity is an evolving process and not an endpoint, I work to be aware of my own biases and assumptions, and learn more about my clients’ unique strengths, difficulties and symptoms. Historically, my research has focused on understanding mental health stigma in marginalized groups and developing and delivering culturally sensitive evidence-based treatments to underserved populations. I continue to work on developing cultural sensitivity and awareness of diversity issues through formal/informal learning, and through curiosity and ongoing discussions with clients, colleagues and others.
