Narrative of Services:

I have been a licensed therapist for over 30 years and have treated a wide range of symptoms and populations. Working with people struggling with OCD has become a passion of mine. About half my practice is made up of people I am treating for OCD. I also run an adult OCD group. My hope is to soon begin a group for children as well.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I am trained in EMDR and Internal Family Systems and use these modalities along with others to treat trauma, anxiety, depression and complicated grief. The client and I will work together to decide which symptoms are most interfering in that moment and from there will begin addressing those symptoms first.

Training Description:

I am formally trained by the IOCDF and completed their BTTI training for adults. I have also attended multiple trainings and workshops on treating OCD in adults and children. I participate in a consultation group on a twice monthly basis with the former executive director of the IOCDF.

Diversity Statement:

I feel strongly that cultural competency and the ability to work with diverse populations is a necessity for therapists. For this reason, I have always incorporated ongoing learning in this area into my practice. I approach every client with the focus of trauma informed care and acknowledge that the client is the expert of their own realities. Through my practice, I will work on connecting as an ally and work collaboratively with each client to create the life they want.

Treatment Groups:

I run an adult OCD treatment group every other Wednesday at 11:00 a.m pacific time on Zoom. The cost is $50.00.
