Narrative of Services:

Angela Ayoub Shunnarah, LICSW, LMSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in the treatment of anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCD) in children, adolescents, and adults. She is licensed to practice in Iowa, Alabama, Florida, and her home state of Michigan. 100% of her practice is dedicated to treating anxiety & OCD patients.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I treat co-occurring anxiety disorders alongside OCD, including generalized anxiety disorder, separation anxiety disorder, specific phobias, social anxiety disorder, panic disorder and health anxiety.

Training Description:

Angela has over 12 years of experience treating OCD and anxiety disorders across the lifespan. She has received extensive, specialized training in CBT and ERP. Angela has completed the Pediatric Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI). She is also trained in SPACE, a parent-based intervention for childhood anxiety and OCD.

Angela earned her BS (2011) and MSW (2012) degrees from the University of Michigan. During her MSW program, she completed her training in the Pediatric Anxiety Disorder Clinic at the University of Michigan Health System. She later completed a post-graduate fellowship at the University Center for the Child and Family.

Treatment Groups:

I run a SPACE workshop called “Parenting Anxious Kids” multiple times throughout the year that is open to participants in all states. The fee is $75/workshop and it runs for 6 weeks.
