Narrative of Services:

Although my practice is rooted in treating OCD, I consider myself a well rounded therapist first, not JUST an OCD therapist. This means my approach is flexible & adapts to whatever may be happening in my client’s life. I use a collaborative approach to ensure that treatment is individualized & addresses the whole person. While the majority of my clients are treated for OCD, I am trained to address general mental health concerns as well as addiction related issues. I also provide supportive sessions to loved ones of clients with OCD to help support treatment.

Training Description:

I have 9 years of experience as a Mental Health Therapist, with 3 years treating OCD using ERP. Im trained through the Cognitive Behavioral Institute and have treated clients with all OCD subtypes. I have extensive experience providing diagnostic assessments for OCD & differential diagnoses as well as working with people with dual diagnoses.

Diversity Statement:

My clients represent a vast array of identities: race, gender identity, age, socio-economic background, sexual orientation, belief system, formerly incarcerated & beyond. My clients span the ages of 18 through 65 (there is no cap on age) who come to therapy with all types of life experiences. I work with and welcome all adults as clients. I make sure to honor & affirm my clients’ identities as part of treatment.

I have extensive experience working with diverse populations across several types of work settings. I worked in the social work department in a locked psychiatric unit, as a school based therapist at 3 different public high schools where the student population was predominantly BIPOC, Latino & new-comers to the United States and at a health facility that served low-income & unhoused populations in Atlanta, Georgia. All of my training throughout school & continuing education emphasizes the importance of addressing cultural identities.
