Narrative of Services:

Hi, I’m Cara. I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Inference-Based CBT (ICBT), and CBT for OCD.

I help teens and adults break free from the cycle of obsessions and compulsions through evidence-based, compassionate care. Together, we’ll work step-by-step to face fears, reduce compulsions, and build tolerance for uncertainty — so you can reclaim your time, energy, and peace of mind. I offer in-person and online sessions, with complimentary consultations to explore fit.
Training Description:
I completed post-graduate supervision in treating OCD and co-occurring disorders in an out-patient setting, followed by private practice. I have expanded my knowledge through studies at the International OCD Foundation’s Behavior Therapy Training Institute, the Yale Child Study Centre, and the TLC Foundation for Body-Focused Repetitive Behavior’s Professional Training Institute. I remain committed to best practice, learning about the latest research, and hearing the voices of those with lived experience with OCD.
Diversity Statement:
I understand that access to OCD treatment can be life-saving, and that unfortunately barriers continue to exist to accessing safe and effective OCD therapy for many communities. I strive to be a mindful ally and welcome those who identify neurodivergent, queer, Indigenous, or part of racial and cultural minority.
